Managecore is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer, in this role, you will be supporting our customers and working in some of the hottest trends in the IT industry like cloud computing, ERP, and Managed Services. We partner with the likes of SAP, Google, VMWare, Intel, and others. We will need you to support those technologies to achieve your goals and have a significant impact on our business.

As a Cloud Engineer, your goal will be to deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You’ll be responsible for understanding technical requirements, deliverables, and timelines in order to meet customer expectations. Most importantly, you will be at the heart of keeping our customers cloud systems running at peak performance. Although past technical experience is important, we will bring you up to speed on the latest technologies and our delivery processes to make you successful. We need you to bring your energy, technical skills, and your winning attitude!

• Technical administrative skills in the area of operating systems, security and networks
• A demonstrated history of working on highly technical projects 
• Ability to establish trust within a network of customers, employees, partners and vendors 
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes 
• Be confident speaking with various level contacts within an organization 
• Confidently make decisions and get buy–in from team members 

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in technical disciplines of system administration and networking 
• Technical expertise in one or more of the following: 

• • Public Clouds (Google, AWS or Azure) 
  • Windows Server administration 
  • Linux or UNIX administration 
  • Network administration (routers, firewalls, VPN/WAN) 
  • Database administration (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) would be a plus 
  • Backup/restore and disaster recovery 

• Proven aptitude of working in a professional environment dealing with external clients 
• Self-starter with the ability to drive projects to completion 
• Understanding of managed services and cloud computing services preferred 
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus
